Becoming the No.1
And here we are, after 10 years and with over 10,000 customers, it looks like we at CHERNOBYLwel.come did a good job. We grew both in quantity, and more importantly in quality. Introducing on average up to 10 innovations a year to our tours helped us become the no.1 attraction in the Kyiv region on TripAdvisor. For the fourth year in a row we have received the award of excellence.
But it is not about the medals and stats. You, dear reader, are not a number on a scorecard for us. Our job is about every minute - from the moment we meet you, until the moment we see you leave, feeling thrilled, surprised, excited, shocked, happy, sometimes even with tears in your eyes, after a CHERNOBYLwel.come tour. And with the hope that you will come again.
Stay in our Chernobyl family
Immediately after one day in Chernobyl I hear people saying ‘I need to come back’. Just like me in 2008. You are welcome to join our Chernobyl family, that usually meets once a year at the CHERNOBYLING festival with a mind blowing program (stay tuned - subscribe to our newsletter). Via the Chernobyl Tour Operator Association you can join our charity works in order to reach even more Chernobyl Babushkas. If you want to wear and carry your glowing ‘Chernobyl adventure’ with you, you will find our apparel in radioPROactive.me shop and again can help the Chernobyl Babushkas with 1% of the price.
Thank you for being the fuel to our passion. We will always stay true to you.
If you have an idea, feel free to share, ask something, or simply get in touch, please write to me directly here:

She is one of those people whom you meet and feel like you've known for years. Your trip would seem as though you‘ve met a very good friend who you haven't seen for a while. She is very cheerful, adventurous, creative and open minded. She fell in love with Chernobyl in 2016 and since then their love has been mutual.
During his youth Andrei played the legendary Transport Tycoon a lot. When he grew up, he decided he would love to try to play this game in real life. So he went to far Germany to buy the first few Mercedes Sprinters. Later he used his rich experience in Transport Tycoon in business and became a respected businessman (or so-called MAGNAT) in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. In addition to transport management, Andrei is also helping CHERNOBYLwel.come to manage all important things in Ukraine.
Tereza is the youngest member of our team always eager to help people in any situation. She is passionate about meeting different cultures and different people all over the world. She might look and sound rather shy, but she is not afraid of challenges and she like collecting experiences and great memories.
A proud father of 3 daughters, a passionate ice hockey player and Chernobyl-addicted traveler, Dominik established CHERNOBYLwel.com in 2008, after his first trip to the Chernobyl exclusion zone. His background is in journalism. Yes, the sentences on this webpage have been created by him – with grammar mistakes! :-)
Once upon a time…she was a small ball of energy, always smiling. Maja loves globe-trotting and one day back in 2011 she wandered into the Zone. Her heart stayed there. She loves traveling and now, especially Chernobyl. She is known as a person who loves to help out, laughs a lot and likes to capture special moments and places.

Juraj, also referred to as Jesus, is our graphic and UX preacher and leader. Most of the marketing team believes that Juraj was sent by God himself and is the awaited Messiah. Although his birthday is not celebrated on Christmas and he wasn't born of a virgin named Mary, he sometimes does perform miracles.
Michal fell in love with Chernobyl right after his first visit back in 2015. Later, Michal left the muddy waters of PR and drank from a beautiful well full of radioactive water. After that first delicious sip he mutated into the content-hero and works non-stop spitting out texts in our CHERNOBYLwel.come universe.
Behind the lovely face is hiding a machine-like brain which is always thinking two-steps ahead. She's sexy, but she's clever and knows how things are going. That's why she's our operational mastermind, thinking about all the details that we - regular people - often forget. If she'd not be with CHERNOBYLwel.come, we guess the best fit for her has to be a role of a Bond girl. But in a real life!
Moyses came to the company as a total greenhorn of online marketing. His strong growth mindset and passion in exploring customer’s needs through various marketing tools gave him valuable knowledge. When in the zone he loves to discover radioactive hotspots and we believe that this is how he is constantly charged up for new challenges.
Maryna wishes to have a lot of people in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. It is a very important and sad moment in the history of Ukraine and she loves to spread this topic to people. She loves to help people and make all handmade works. Especially floristic one! :)
Michaela is also called „miss curious “. On one hand, she is a typical workaholic who easily gets enthusiastic about any new impulse and always seeks answers to all the questions she comes across. On the other hand, she is a spontaneous and adventurous little bundle of craziness, who will be the first out of the group to jump out of the plane or eat ants. You will also have an opportunity to talk with her about human rights, philosophy or social sciences as her biggest dream is to make the world a better place to live.
Vika is a super example of helpfulness. She is inspired by nature, her cat and, of course, people. So if you are a human you already own her heart. She got to CHERNOBYLwel.come by accident and couldn`t help but stay in a wonderful team.
Katerina is a real generalist: she can support a conversation about geography and economics as easily as computer science and classical literature. A greater number of interests allows to approach her work in a unique way, to seek non-standard solutions and to be an excellent interlocutor for customers and her colleagues.
“Radioactive adviser” Karina is an open-hearted girl, who is always ready to help and support customers to make their adventure unforgettable! She is proud of her grandfather, who was a liquidator in Chernobyl and considers this place to be special! She admires history, traveling, meeting new people and teaching children !:) She will always support an idea to have an adventure in some great place like Chernobyl and want to show this ghost-town to everyone!
Irina fell in love with Kyiv at first sight and from that very moment, she feels its heartbeat. With her, no area falls under a blind spot, which deserves your attention. Ask her about a restaurant for real Ukrainian cuisine, a cozy place to stay or a historical site to explore and be ready to experience unforgettable and enjoy top-notch service. Moreover, her intrinsic tips will definitely save you some time and nerve cells.
